The game and your devices

Last Light Before Christmas is the first SolveNight story: a browser-based cooperative escape for two to six players, with one public screen and a separate phone identity for each player. The organizer can also play. It is designed for adults playing in the same room.

Use the free prologue to check the actual phones, browser, network, and TV or computer setup you plan to use. Wireless casting depends on your devices; a dedicated TV app is not required. The prologue’s 5–8 minutes and complete story’s 20–30 minutes are design targets, not guaranteed completion times.

The complete-story license

Price$9.99 for the group. The hosted checkout must show the final currency, taxes, and total before you pay.
BuyerOne buyer account for the organizer. The other players do not need buyer accounts.
Redemption allowanceOne paid room creation, available to redeem within 365 days from confirmed payment.
When the allowance is usedWhen the paid room is created, before the Start button is pressed. Do not create the paid room days before your gathering.
Room windowSix hours from room creation, including setup and breaks. Pausing the play timer does not extend the room’s expiry.
Inside that roomReconnect or restart the story as often as you like while the same room remains available. A restart resets all chapter progress; it does not create a new room or a new six-hour window.

This is a one-off story offer, not a subscription. It does not promise unlimited new rooms, lifetime hosting, or access to future themes. The platform may add other escape-game themes, but only the story and access shown in your purchase are included.

Payment and delivery

Real purchases are available only when the story page and hosted checkout explicitly offer live payment. A test or sandbox checkout does not create a real purchase or live story access.

The buyer should use the same account and verified email at checkout and when returning to the story. Access is confirmed from a verified payment event, not simply from visiting a checkout-return page. If an order remains pending after payment, use your account’s update control and ask support with the order reference.

Once a paid room has been created, return to that room from your account or original browser rather than creating another room. Keep the organizer pairing link and sign-in details private.

Playing responsibly

Use the service for your own group’s entertainment. Do not interfere with other rooms, try to take another player’s identity, resell access as your own service, or publish private game materials as a substitute for the story. You may use nicknames; avoid sharing sensitive personal information in them.

Short disconnects and refreshes are designed to preserve the same browser identity. Switching browsers, clearing cookies, permanently losing a player device, or restarting can affect your place or progress. The player roster locks when the game starts.

Problems, refunds, and changes

Tell support if an access or delivery problem prevents you from using what you purchased. See the refund page for the current process. A confirmed full or partial refund revokes the corresponding story access and closes rooms linked to that purchase after processing; a support request by itself does not move money or immediately close a room.

These terms do not remove rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. The version and offer presented for a purchase should be kept with that order; material terms should not be silently replaced for an existing purchase.
